Late WorkLate work is not accepted in AP classes with the exception of an excused absence.
Late work will be accepted in non-AP courses based on the following terms: - If you have an excused absence, you have one day to complete or make up the missing assignment, test, or quiz. YOU as the student are responsible for asking for your missing work. If you know you will be absent, you can ask for the work in advance. - Daily assignments and homework will be accepted only up to two days late and will receive a reduced grade of no higher than a 70. - Projects turned in late will lose 10 points for each school day that they are not turned in past the due date. -Except in the event of an excused absence, late work will not be accepted in the Spring semester. |

When You Are Absent
When you miss class, it is your responsibility to make up the work that you missed. Most of the details for what we do on a given day can be found here on the website, but if you need more information it is your responsibility to ask me for the work. It is also your responsibility to come in for any make up tests and quizzes. I am available any day both before and after school. You need to make an arrangement with me within 3 days of your absence to make up the test or quiz or it will turn into a zero in the gradebook. To be clear, you do not necessarily have to take the test or quiz within the 3 days, but you do have to make arrangements with me a schedule a time for the make up within that time frame. For AP classes, you are also responsible for completing the scheduled readings on time and taking the requisite quizzes, even if you are absent the class before.
